The center speaker is no longer needed.
All audio and audio-visual content now works, without changes or intervention, with four (4) speakers.
To ensure vocal content (talking, singing etc) is ‘centered’ and at the front, we recommend placing front-left and front-right speakers immediately to the left and right of any TV you might be using.
You need to adjust the ‘Real Level’ control on the back of the box and adjust to your taste. All speakers and rooms are different. Once set, there is no need adjust again.
Chances are that if there is no headphone jack, your TV will have Bluetooth. Connect your TV using Bluetooth as outlined in the “How do I use Bluetooth?” question.
If your TV has no headphone jack AND no Bluetooth, chances are that it will have an optical output connection. You will need any Digital (optical) to analogue converter. Simply plug the optical end of the converter to your TV and the other end to your SoundBox.
Simply touch the power button on the top right corner of the Box.
If no lights are on, you will need to turn on the power switch at the back at the box first.
Use the volume buttons on your TV Remote, Phone, Tablet or Computer and/or;
Touch the volume line on the top of the box and move to the left (less overall volume) or right (more overall volume) to taste. See our video here
You don’t need to. The SoundBox will automatically change to standby when no music/signal has been present for 5 minutes. This is the same effect of pressing the power button on your TV remote to put it in standby.
For most Android phones; simply hold/tap phone over the NFC logo above the Bluetooth button. Your Bluetooth connection will be set up automatically for you. See our NFC how-to video here
For all other phones, PC’s, tablets & TVs:
i) Touch and hold the Bluetooth Logo on the top of the SoundBox for 3 seconds to activate pairing mode. The Bluetooth button will blink on and off while it is in pairing mode. ii) Navigate through your device Bluetooth setting to find and connect to “Sound Box”. See our Bluetooth how-to video here
A. If you have your SoundBox connected to a Smart TV, chances are you have WiFi access by default. Simply cast or stream your music to your TV via WiFi.
B. If you don’t have a Smart TV you may want to consider purchasing and using a Google Chromecast. Once installed in your TV, simply cast or stream your music to your TV via WiFi.
C. If you don’t have a TV at all and you want to use WiFi, we have used and tested both the Google Chromecast Audio and the Audiocast M5 with success. There are many other similar products on the market. Once installed in the SoundBox, simply cast or stream your music to your chosen product via WiFi
There is no digital input by design and intent. If there was a digital input, the SoundBox would need a remote control for volume adjustment.
